Overview
Signadot is a platform for testing microservices-based, cloud-native applications. Developers use Signadot to test their changes safely in ephemeral sandbox environments in Kubernetes.
We are looking for a Senior distributed systems engineer to be part of the early team. You will have autonomy and ownership to architect and build core parts of the platform. You will work closely with the CEO, CTO and other member of the founding team. You will engage with developers from our initial set of customers and iterate rapidly to test usage of various features. Apart from Engineering, you will have wide exposure to product, sales and marketing related activities.
Our software is written in Golang and we work extensively with technologies like Kubernetes and Service Meshes.
We have customers with 100s of microservices using our platform to scale testing and boost developer productivity.

Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into elegant engineering designs
- Implement the solution using Golang
- Review technical designs, do code reviews and provide accurate task estimates
Qualifications
- 3+ yrs work experience building scalable, distributed backend systems
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
- Knowledge of cloud native development processes
Bonus Points
- Experience with Golang and Kubernetes is highly desired. Experience writing Kubernetes custom controllers and operators would be an excellent fit.
