Escape develops a unique Artificial Intelligence that allows organizations to find and fix security issues in APIs before it's too late. Founded in 2020, it has successfully positioned itself as one of the most promising European cybersecurity start-ups winning the Grand Défi Cyber Prize delivered by the French Government and the ANSSI. The founders graduated from Polytechnique & HEC (CTO) and ENSTA & HEC (CEO). Both finished their studies in the United States at UC Berkeley. Missions

We seek a highly-skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Paris. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling web applications that meet our client's needs. You will join a team of 8 engineers, reporting directly to the CTO, to identify and solve complex problems and ensure our code and infrastructure is of the highest quality.

Frontend:

• You will develop high-performance UIs with Svelte.js, prioritizing user experience.
• You will utilize GraphQL for efficient data loading and responsive application.
• You will collaborate on product decisions with CTO, CEO, and Lead Designer

Backend:

• You will build and optimize GraphQL APIs for scalability, leveraging Pothos and Prisma
• You will use PostgreSQL to create efficient, secure databases.
• You will maintain event-based distributed systems (RabitMQ/Kafka) for performance.

DevSecOps:

• You will conduct code reviews and testing, ensuring code quality and SOC-2 compliance.
• You will oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines, focusing on GitLab CI.
• You will manage Kubernetes infrastructure alongside our DevSecOps, ensuring system reliability.

Profile

Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks, specifically Svelte.js or Vue.js.
• Proficiency in backend development using Node.js: GraphQL, Pothos, and Prisma.
• Experience with event-based architectures, such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.

Bonus point:

• Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, emphasizing GitLab CI.
• Demonstrated experience working within a sprint-based project management environment.
• Familiarity with deploying distributed systems on a Kubernetes cluster with Terraform.
