The Role
We’re looking for someone with solid software development experience to join the engineering team to implement new features in our products and scale our cloud infrastructure as we expand our pilot program and validate our product market fit that we think we have already found.
You will bring with you best practices and the ability to implement features in a clean and scalable way. You will be a mentor to the 2 passionate junior developers, and work closely with machine learning and product teams to gather technical specifications.
As we grow, you'll have the opportunity to take on more management and strategy responsibilities, should they appeal to you.
Must have’s
- Lots of experience building commercial web applications
- Experience with React & Django, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud services (we use GCP)
- Willingness to mentor junior developers
- An overall nice person 😊
Nice-to-have’s
- Experience developing image and geometry manipulation applications
- Experience with test-driven development (PyTest, Playwright, etc.)
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code
