We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer with expertise in React and TypeScript to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend of our platform, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience for HVAC installers.
Tech stack:
- Local-first app architecture
- TypeScript, React, TailwindCSS
- Local database: RxDB
- Cloud database: Postgres (Supabase)
- Docker, GitHub, Fly
- Linear, Slack
Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using React and TypeScript
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products
- Lead the development of key features and mentor junior engineers
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Experience with modern frontend build pipelines and tools
- Basic familiarity with databases (NoSQL/ SQL)
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- A passion for clean code and quality assurance
- Based in Berlin, with a willingness to work from our office close to Rosenthaler Platz. Important: This position requires to live in Berlin and come to our office (1-2 days home office)
