With an aging population, an overburdened radiology workforce, and over 30% of the world's data being generated in healthcare, the use of AI in clinical environments is gaining traction. State-of-the-art AI algorithms can automate up to 60% of diagnosis workflows, positively impacting patient outcomes. However, implementing AI in radiology is difficult due to the lack of powerful infrastructure and MLOps tooling.

We aim to solve this problem by creating the foundational layer of AI in radiology. This will enable any AI team to go from raw data to FDA-cleared AI. Our current focus is on developing advanced medical imaging annotation tools. From 2024, we will also work on creating tools for other aspects of the MLOps stack.

Our application is frontend heavy. It includes a medical imaging viewer that allows users to visualize, interact with, and annotate large 3D medical images. Our application also has a management and collaborative layer with dashboards that enable users to track the progress and quality of their projects on RedBrick AI.

We are looking for a ReactJS engineer passionate about working on complex engineering problems and wanting to create world-class user experiences.

What you'll do

You will be responsible for building user-facing features in the medical imaging viewer and dashboards. These features include supporting new user flows, adding new annotation capabilities, or optimizing existing ones. We strongly emphasize attention to detail, design, and performance, and we expect you to be motivated by these qualities as well.

As part of your role, you'll participate in design discussions with the founders and design team, from the inception of a feature to high-fidelity design. The ultimate goal is to develop an intimate understanding of our customers so that you can take ownership of a larger piece of feature development.

What we expect

We expect you to have multiple years of experience building B2B applications with advanced skills in frontend technologies, including ReactJS and Typescript. Experience with a technical product like an MLOps platform is a plus.
