👀 What We're Seeking
We’re looking for a versatile data scientist with a history of extracting valuable and actionable insights from unexplored datasets and who is also capable of being hands-on at all points of a project's lifecycle. You will be working directly with our CTO and a small team of engineers to find patterns and trends in new datasets, scope out opportunities to augment our product offerings, and build out these solutions from the prototyping stage to deployment. NLP experience is ideal as our initial focus is unstructured technical documents, but generally we work with highly varied sources of data. As a very early hire you will have a tremendous say and impact on the direction and prospects of our company.
🧑💻 What You'll Be Doing

Leveraging NLP techniques (text mining, key-value extraction) to extract rich information from technical documentation

Actively identifying new opportunities to use data and analytics to improve our processes and product offerings

Standardizing and normalizing input data coming from a wide variety of sources

Writing clean, testable and well-documented code in an agile environment

Contributing to product roadmapping alongside the founding team and prioritizing tasks according to customer and team needs

Taking on an entrepreneurial mentality to independently identify and pursue opportunities for the organization
🎨 Your Existing Skills

You have real world experience with working through all phases of a machine learning / data science project (e.g., ideation, design, implementation, training, validating, deployment)

Ability to independently explore unfamiliar data and implement appropriate solutions

Proficiency in Python and common data science / ML libraries (e.g., Pandas, SciKit-Learn, Tensorflow, Keras)

You have prior experience working on projects using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)

You are a curious person with a strong desire to grow. You are passionate about solving complex problems in a rapidly changing environment and have an interest in keeping up with emerging technologies
