To support us with bringing our technological stack to the next level and advancing our ML infrastructure and eventually making our AI pipeline self-service, we are looking for your help.
We are hiring a Senior Computer Vision Engineer.
🎯 Your responsibilities
- Delivering end-to-end solutions for various computer vision problems, from ideation and experimentation to productionizing
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of computer vision systems in production environments
- Drive taking the right decisions on ML infrastructure
- Work with backend engineers to bring the code to production
- Extend the existing Computer Vision/ML pipeline to make it a closed loop system: based on the customer’s feedback/model drift, the CV system is automatically retrained and redeployed.
- Research and experiment with state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms and techniques, and develop novel solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in computer vision research, and share knowledge and insights with the team
📚 Our backend stack
- Training pipeline on Cloud VMs, experiment tracking in MLFlow, migration to run on Kubernetes in progress
- Data streaming with Apache Kafka, persistent data storage in MongoDB
- Containerized microservices with docker compose
- Computer Vision models in PyTorch
- Processing mixed on-prem/on-cloud, storage on Google Cloud
🛠 Desired Skills and Experience
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with object-oriented programming
- At least 5 years of experience in computer vision, with a track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions
- Good understanding of state of the art in Computer Vision and Deep Learning
- Confident with working with PyTorch the scientific python stack
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, such as version control, testing, and continuous integration and delivery.
- Interest or experience in modern MLOps tooling
- Experience with Git, docker and Google Cloud
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and propose creative and effective solutions.
- Strong English communication and collaboration skills
A plus:
- Experience with Computer Vision applications for video analysis and processing
- Previously participated Kaggle competitions
- Contributions to open-source computer vision projects or publications in top-tier computer vision conferences or journals
