As senior devops/backend engineer, you'll work with other engineering team members to architect, develop and deploy applications at scale. You will be the primary go-to-person for all things infrastructure with Storylane - and so your goal will be to make sure Storylane platform is well designed and monitored.

Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field/degree, with 4+ years of work experience
- Strong knowledge on Ruby Rails framework
- AWS DevOps experience (EC2, EBS,PostgresSQL - RDS, Route53, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, Auto Scaling), Sidekiq and Capistrano deployment recipes
- Previous experience running (Ruby on Rails / Node) services in production
- Experience with Kubernetes, container technology (Docker, ECS, EKS)
- Experience Implementing monitoring solutions and security patches on production
- Self-organized who can take ownership and can communicate well in English
Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable backend API systems on ruby rails
- Handle Daily/Weekly release of Rails and NodeJS applications on AWS
- Help troubleshoot, analyze and root cause issues in the platform
- Operationally own, maintain and deploy services
- We believe in, and practice, end to end service ownership, so you will fully participate in the ownership of your services and components, and on-call duties
