We are making it easy for people in Latin America to earn, save and spend with crypto. Valiu's infrastructure is designed to support the transition from fiat to crypto, for everyone. We are focused on Latin America's emerging economies, starting with Venezuela. We’re enabling the first crypto economy in Venezuela, and aim to follow with other LatAm economies thereafter.
We aim to increase economic freedom for people and businesses living under hyperinflation so that they can acquire, hold, pay and earn in a stable asset. We are now pursuing this by offering crypto-enabled products to end consumers, while abstracting all crypto-related complexities.

Opportunity Overview
As Senior Backend Developer, your mission is to develop and maintain our core backend, which handles several types of financial operations, calculates money exchange rates and does Valiu's treasury operations. This involves maintaining and developing integrations with third party providers, writing unit tests to ensure the quality of the code, and documenting your work so that other people can easily understand it.
You will report and work with other backend developers, data scientists and infrastructure developers.

5+ years of experience developing backend with nodeJS.
Vast experience working with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL.
Proficient in English.
