About the Role:
We are looking for a qualified Scrum Master to join our tech team. You will oversee the scrum and development team by deploying Agile methodologies. You will also act as a buffer between the scrum team and product owners and maintain a safe working environment for the team by helping with conflict resolution. To ensure success as a scrum master, you should be proficient in JIRA.
What you’ll be doing:
Oversee scrum process and coach the scrum teams on how to use scrum and Agile practices and methodologies
Influence and collaborate with others to drive continuous improvement of the scrum process
Advocate for transparency, inspection, and adaption of all processes
Lead daily scrums, sprint reviews, and plan meetings to ensure a full team engagement. Manage interdependencies between agile teams.
Partner with product owners to support short and long-term release planning, and to keep the work backlog healthy and prepared for execution.
Resolve impediments and teach the Scrum Team how to resolve impediments themselves
Support the Product Owner and Development Team in making sure that the Scrum Artifacts are completely transparent
Coach stakeholders on Agility & understanding of the Scrum Framework, to interact effectively with the Scrum Team
Prepare and host the Sprint Retrospective, by gathering data and observations during the Sprint
Support, train, coach and facilitate the Product Owner, Development Team and Organization when needed or asked, in order to continuously improve and become more self-organizing
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or any IT-related field /proven work experience
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the same capacity and working with Jira
Strong knowledge of Agile principles and concepts
Exceptional problem solving skills and an ability to work independently
Exceptional coaching skills
Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills.
