Job Overview:
We are seeking an experience and dynamic Sales Development Team Manager to join our team in New York City. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Sales Development Representatives driving revenue growth, and fostering strong relationships. This role is on-site in our New York City office (M-F) and therefore candidates located in New York City (or willing to relocate) only will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Manage, mentor and motivate a team of Sales Development Representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
Set clear performance objectives and ensure the team’s adherence to sales strategies and company policies.
Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies, plans, and initiatives to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
Identify new business opportunities to target non-technical accounts for SaaS solutions, leveraging your expertise in this domain.
Utilize sales analytics and Salesforce data to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales effectiveness.
Partners with talent managers to hire new team members
Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement sales enablement programs, tools, and resources to support the sales team’s success.
Ensure the sales team is equipped with the proper product knowledge and sales training materials.
Develop and refine the sales process, methodologies, and best practices to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall sales performance.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer insights to provide strategic guidance and recommendations.
Requirements:
Located in New York City - this is an on-site (M-F) role and therefore candidates located in New York City (or willing to relocate) only will be considered
3+ years in Sales, 1+ year in Sales Management in SaaS.
Proven track record of success hiring and building out a new Sales Development team from scratch.
Strong sales enablement experience, including the development and execution of sales strategies, processes, and tools.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in an unstructured environment, preferable in an early stage startup
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high performing sales team, driving them to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Analytical mindset, comfortable working with sales data and leveraging insights to drive sales performance improvements.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
