Opportunity

Airbyte is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our team.  In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tremendous impact on our growth. Your focus will be on helping our cloud user base find success with our product.  You’ll be working with data engineers and practitioners in the data integrations space and helping them with best practices, platform utility, demos, connections configuration, and basic use cases.

Take the next step in your career by learning about the rapidly growing cloud infrastructure space.  Receive training in the technical domain around data integration, sharpen your client communication skills and learn the basics around deal progression and selling.

Your success will be measured by your ability to grow our engagement with users which includes, but is not limited to:  adoption of first connector, growth in connector utilization, growth in workspaces, growth in number of active users, growth via referrals, and learnings documented.

This role is designed to be a training program and launching pad for your career; ideally at Airbyte in Marketing, Growth, User Success Engineering, Data Architect, Account Executive, Product or something else!

 

What You'll Do

  • Engage users in various stages of the Airbyte adoption journey
  • Discover and document hurdles/blockers to Airbyte adoption
  • Demo the Airbyte platform when appropriate
  • Assist with API/DB Source Connector setup and primary errors/blockers and how to resolve
  • Assist with Data Warehouse Destination setup and primary errors/blockers and how to resolve.
  • Document use cases and personas utilizing Airbyte
  • Expand the Airbyte user footprint through inter-company referrals, cold outreach/expansion, use case driven expansion, and persona based expansion
  • Run experiments to optimize engagement rates, personalization impact, and use case driven expansion.
  • Assist marketing in events/promotions/conferences when needed.

 

What You'll Need

  • 1 - 2 Years Experience in a client facing role (SDR, BDR, Support, Customer Success, etc)
  • Previous experience in tech preferred
  • A four year degree

Salary for this job- $55,000- $80,000 + variable compensation (for roles that apply) + a generous equity package, and benefits listed above for US Market. For countries outside of the US we offer benefits and localized salaries based on your region or area.
