Job Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at PowerRouter, you'll play a crucial role in driving new business opportunities by identifying and nurturing prospects, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings for the sales team. You'll collaborate closely with our marketing and sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact to conversion.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities by conducting outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach.
- Research and identify target accounts, key decision-makers, and relevant information to personalize your outreach efforts.
- Qualify inbound leads through a structured process, ensuring they meet our ideal customer profile (ICP) criteria.
- Schedule discovery meetings for the sales team with qualified prospects, tracking all activities in our CRM.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine lead generation strategies, enhance messaging, and improve overall sales processes.
- Achieve or exceed monthly quotas for qualified leads, meetings, and pipeline contribution.
- Maintain a deep understanding of PowerRouter’s products, services, and value proposition to effectively communicate with prospects.
- Participate in ongoing sales training and development programs to enhance your skills and stay current on industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the SaaS/technology industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport with prospects.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and familiarity with sales automation tools.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and committed to achieving sales goals.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
