What we do: Maverick Bioworks extracts lithium, other battery metals, and rare earth elements from hard rock using engineered enzymes. Our process is more cost effective and greener (reduced environmental contaminants and CO2 emissions) than the current acid roasting extraction method.

We are a small, driven team with strong startup vibes. As an early hire, you can expect to have autonomy over your work and help lead our biology projects.
