About the role
Our products vary from software being integrated into medical devices to cloud based web applications used by some of the largest medical device manufacturers in the world. We are looking for a developer to help enhance the frontend of our products. They will work closely with UI designers, QA, and internal stakeholders to enhance the products’ frontend and user experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to estimate feasibility and timelines
- Implement mockups created by UI/UX designers
- Integrate single page web apps with backend APIs
- Research and propose solutions to increase code performance, reuse and maintainability
- Maintain a common UI library that is shared across Medcrypt’s entire product line.
- Ensure look and feel is maintained across browsers and operating systems
- Ensure frontend libraries are kept up to date and in line with modern browser features and best practices.
Experience and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Javascript or Typescript
- 2+ years experience in React
- Experience with tooling such as NPM, yarn, webpack, jest, testing-library and prettier
- Experience with modern web standards such as CSS3, ECMA2019+ features
- Experience with git or other SCM
- Experience working on multiple products that share a common codebase or theme
