The Role
Gradia Health is looking to hire someone part-time (hourly pay & very flexible) who is a registered dietitian (RD) or certified nutrition specialist (CNS). This is a remote role and the typical hours per week will be 15-20 hours, starting out slowly and increasing over the first month.
Some background on the company: we're on a mission to provide an integrated, holistic care experience for patients with chronic conditions — starting with those suffering from digestive issues. Gradia was founded by two Stanford engineers and has been backed by world class investors, including those who wrote the first checks into Airbnb, Instacart, and Dropbox. We're extremely well-capitalized and have recently hit an inflection point, so there's no better time to join.
What You'll Do:
Educate patients on therapeutic diets telephonically or through a secure video platform
Work in harmony with other team members, such as dietitians, administrative coordinators, and the founders of the company to create best practices
Support the development of educational handouts or diet and lifestyle protocols
Requirements:
Must be proficient in therapeutic diets, especially a reflux diet, low FODMAP, Mediterranean, low-carb, anti-inflammatory, and other gut-healing diets
Experience working with the following disease states: GERD, IBS, NAFLD, diabetes, cancer, metabolic syndrome
Familiar with patient documentation in EHRs
Experience with meal planning and grocery shopping guidance
Familiarity with supplements is a plus (not required)
