Our Product
Harmoney’s product is a trading and market data platform for financial institutions and wealth managers. Our product replaces phone-based trading and manual operations with an end-to-end trading platform.
The QA engineer will be responsible for quality assurance in software development through testing and implementation, collaborating with other team members to create and analyse project documents, and participating in all phases of the test cycle including manual and automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Assures quality within the software application by developing and implementing effective test plans, test cases, and test scripts and by assuring the business logic is appropriate and maintained for the client.
- Participates in production implementation verification and is accountable for validating particular enhancement(s).
- Plans, documents, evaluates, and tracks program testing results to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
- Works with users, systems analysts, designers, and programmers to create/analyse various required project documents.
- Participate in all phases of the test cycle, including Unit Testing, Integration/System Testing, Performance Testing, Load Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing, etc.
- Responsible for both manual and automated test tools/techniques (ex: JMeter)
- Complies with the standards in the software life cycle and follows the strategies, plans, and procedures.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 3-4 years experience as QA Engineer
- Hands-on experience in driving the QA release cycle end to end, defect reporting, test planning, and execution.
- Hands-on work experience in preparing Test plans, Test Scripts, and RTM.
- Programming experience in Python/Java and SQL skills are good to have
