About the role
This role will teach you all aspects of working as a technical product manager in a startup environment. You will get the opportunity to learn how product teams function with minimal data at a fast pace. During this internship you will learn about the products at GoLinks, assist in the product discovery process and work closely with the engineering and design teams in the agile process. After understanding our processes, you will be given the opportunity to lead your own project. A successful intern will be able to plan, document and clearly present the project to the stakeholders.
What you’ll do
- Lead a project from the idea stage
- Learn about and practice the agile sprint process
- Work closely with the product team during the entire product lifecycle
- Assist with product discovery and brainstorming sessions that lead to impactful improvements for the customer
- Utilize analytics tools to gather insights about user behavior and trends
Who you are
- Passionate about Product. You naturally focus on any tool you use on a day-to-day basis and obsess about how it can be improved.
- Technical curiosity. You are comfortable with technology and have a passion for understanding user needs and problem solving.
- Startup growth mindset. We’re growing, and fast, however, being a part of a startup means that some of our business goals exist 3 months in the future rather than 3 years. You are someone who thrives in a quickly-changing environment with the ability to hyperfocus and quickly pivot when needed.
- Quick learner and highly adaptable. Learning is a never-ending process for you. You enjoy learning and can pick up on new concepts quickly. You are also open and can adapt easily to new processes and ways of thinking.
- Strong Communication Skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- You have experience leading a project from scratch

- You have or are pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
Pay Transparency
The hourly pay for this role is $25/hour USD. As a remote-first company, we take a geographically-neutral approach to compensation and set our compensation based on job function and level, regardless of location.
