The Role
Weʼre looking for a Product Design Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in our product team, designing and building the future of mental health.
Design is key to what we do, and who weʼre looking for is an experienced product designer who is able to create great aesthetic design but also goes beyond aesthetics to design the right products for users. You have a user-centric approach of talking to users and looking at data to understand what theyʼre doing, feeling, and thinking to empathise with their needs, to create a product that users love.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the product design function to understand user needs, the project scopes, and deliver effective designs.
- Drive the design process through ideation, concept development, validation, wireframing, prototyping, and final visual design (in quick, iterative cycles).
- Use journey maps, user flows, and system diagrams to think and communicate ideas that impact the end-to-end participant experience.
- Craft designs that connect the dots between user needs, data, business goals, and clinical insight.
- Conduct thorough user testing to ensure ease of use, using a user-centric approach.
- Collaborate with the product team and communicate effectively on your design process and rationale.
Who You Are
- 4+ years in a product design role related to UI / UX (preferably in mobile consumer design)
- A portfolio of past projects in UI / UX design
- Experience in designing for iOS, Android and/or Web apps, and familiarity with the respective guidelines and standards Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Framer, Proto.io, or similar tools
- Experience building usable and beautiful user experiences, with an attention to design details
- Experience with user research and passionate about building products that make a positive impact
- Experience working with startups
- Bonus if you have prior healthcare / health tech experience
