That’s where you come in.

As a pre-sales engineer you will be critical in ensuring that Taktile keeps this momentum and continues growing at the current pace. You will guide the technical evaluation of our platform as well as all technical elements of our sales process. You will help prospective customers understand the value of our platform through meaningful demonstrations and will show them how to achieve outcomes using our software. You will be a key part of the sales team and the main technical product advocate to our prospective customers.

We’re looking for someone who: Takes an analytical and consultative approach to selling, is quick to understand business problems and proactively proposes solutions that generate value for prospective customers.

Understands people and technology, and is proficient and diligent in writing and testing Python code.

Has exceptional organizational and project management skills with a strong ability to prioritize and balance multiple work streams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Together with our sales team, you will form meaningful relationships with prospective customers and help them understand the business value of implementing the Taktile Platform.

You will represent Taktile’s products to various personas across the customer organizations spanning from credit analysts and data scientists to C-level executives.

You will lead prospective customers through the full cycle of technically evaluating Taktile’s Interactive Decision Design Platform.

You will lead technical product demonstrations and align Taktile’s product capabilities to the vision of the customers’ goals.

You will support prospective customers by authoring reference architectures for their decision flows.

You will develop bespoke product demos, which includes implementing our customer’s decision flows on our platform.

You will engage with the technical community (both internal and customer) by leading workshops, seminars and meet-ups.

IDEAL, BUT NOT REQUIRED

Domain expertise in the financial services industry (banking, insurance, capital markets, payments, etc.) or risk modeling.

4+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical sales, consulting or customer success role.

Experience in applying and optimizing statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems.

General understanding of REST APIs (design, integration, authentication).
