Slai is a tool to quickly build machine learning-powered applications. Our platform helps developers run their code on serverless GPUs, deploy highly performant APIs, and rapidly prototype ML models — without managing any infrastructure.
Dozens of teams are using Slai to power their machine learning models in production. And we have a thriving community of developers using our platform to build state-of-the-art apps with machine learning.
We’re looking to hire someone to help us with Platform Engineering work. Our system is used for rapidly creating serverless runtimes to run our customers' ML training code and autoscaling their deployments according to traffic. You'll help us scale our infrastructure to support the growth of our customers. Since we host ML models for customers, we grow when they do -- and boy, are some of them growing fast.
We’re working on lots of fun problems:
- Low-level systems development
- GPU memory sharing
- Cloud development environments that feel just like working on your laptop
Our infra code is mostly in Go, but our backend APIs are in Python. We work extremely closely with our customers – they’re all in a communal Slack channel with us, so it’s important that you’re interested in interacting with them (luckily, our customers are all developers).
This is a fully-remote, international role – we’re native to tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Docs, and this works pretty well for us. We try to keep distractions to a minimum, we have quarterly hackathons at our office, and we value getting into a flow state at work.
