Role summary

As a People Coordinator at Volley, you will be sourcing, coordinating & managing candidate experiences across all of our hiring teams. This includes expanding and managing our existing talent network via outreach and CRM drip campaigns, supporting candidates throughout our hiring process via seamless interview scheduling & internal coordination. You’ll be joining a team dedicated to equitability, inclusivity, diversity, and innovative hiring practices.

Volley is in a period of high growth, and this role will be well-seated to grow with the organization. You will have an opportunity to support other People Operations functions, including HR.

This job opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are comfortable with on-site attendance in our Bay Area office 3 times per week and are either currently residing in or near the Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work.

What you'll do at Volley

  • Source, engage, and maintain a high-quality talent network via outreach & nurture campaigns
  • Coordinate interviews across all hiring teams and help improve scheduling process efficiency
  • Curate an exceptional and seamless experience for candidates at each point of contact
  • Have the opportunity to support HR-related processes such as onboarding, off-boarding, and benefits administration.

Stuff you may have done before

  • Sourced talent for high-performing tech teams
  • Developed email outreach campaigns for talent networks and owned engagement analytics
  • Coordinated interviews across a range of roles & teams, while tracking efficiency and advocating for process improvements
  • Managed competing priorities across hiring teams & open roles

Must-haves

  • 4-5 years in a Recruiting Coordinator (or similar) role
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication
  • Experience working with an ATS & related Recruiting tools

Your first 90 days

  • Onboard with the Recruiting team on the hiring process & interviewing at Volley
  • Familiarize yourself with Volley’s recruiting stack & talent partners
  • Coordinate interviews for active requisitions
  • Dig into existing talent network and develop/launch outreach campaigns
  • Track analytics across interview scheduling/coordination and outreach campaigns

The hiring process

  • Stage 1 (Preliminary Screen) with Sr. Recruiting Lead
  • Stage 2 (Hiring Manager Chat) with Head of Recruiting
  • Stage 3 (Take-Home Test)
  • Stage 4 (Onsite Interview) with various partners and team members
  • Stage 5 (Founders Chat) with our Co-Founders 
  • Stage 6 (Offer)

For Pay Transparency: The salary range that we expect to pay for this position is $115,360-$144,200 annually. This is a portion of the pay band for the role and level we are seeking. The final offer amount will depend on experience, education, and skills. Base pay is only one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work
