Operations Manager

As we scale SnapCalorie, we need someone with initiative and excellent communication skills to assist in managing all of the non-engineering and research related tasks. This role has incredible growth potential, requiring someone to learn and adapt to a wide variety of challenges. It is an incredibly opportunity for someone to get in on the ground floor of a business well positioned to disrupt the health and fitness industry.

Responsibilities:

• Interacting directly with users to help with coaching, learning from their experience, and identifying pain points and communicating this clearly to leadership.
• Building out and running our content and social media strategy.
• Managing the large AI training data collection team, ensuring our ontologies are nutritionally sound, and labels are accurate.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to execute with limited guidance, identify potential pitfalls, and work through solutions to these independently.
• In depth knowledge and passion for food and nutrition.

Desired:

• RDN or degree in a nutrition related field.
• Ability to work in person in our NYC office with flexibility to work remote as needed.
