Motion and Interaction Designer : Founding Team

Flagright helps fintech startups prevent financial crime and remain AML compliant while enabling them to grow revenue and manage risk appetite in real time. It’s an API-first solution with a no-code back office portal. We provide real-time responses even for data-intensive, complex rules via a simple and extensible API on a usage-based pricing model. We are on a mission to commoditize financial crime prevention tooling for startups globally and we're looking for an experienced Frontend Software Engineer to join our team.

We are a Y Combinator-backed company based in Berlin, serving customers from 6 continents.

About the role:

You will be a founding member of the engineering team and get an opportunity to build the company. This is a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned technologists, help share trends in Fintech, dabble in the latest data and AI technologies, and bring to market an exciting first-of-its-kind product. In this dynamic role, you'll be instrumental in not only crafting visually captivating graphics and high-quality product marketing videos but also in designing interactive elements that elevate user experience and engagement on our digital platforms. This role is for on-site work in Flagright's Mysore, India office.

What you’ll need:

Ideal candidates are self-driven, capable of independent work, and have a passion for excellence. If you're enthusiastic, committed, and looking to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you. So, you ideally have an entrepreneurial mindset or want to learn what it takes to work in an early-stage startup. At least 3+ years of relevant experience and have driven one or more projects independently from design through implementation and maintenance.

🛠 Your Responsibilities:

• Designed and developed compelling motion graphics, illustrations, and video content for marketing and sales initiatives.
• Design custom illustrations, animations, and interactive designs for Flagright's website and SaaS web application, enhancing user experience and engagement.
• Collaborate with teams to understand marketing goals, user needs, and product specifics.
• Create diverse visual content, including infographics, digital ads, social media graphics, and promotional videos.
• Develop storyboards and scripts for video projects in alignment with our marketing strategies and brand values.
• Apply design strategies to improve user engagement, acquisition, and retention across various marketing channels.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in motion graphics, video production, and interactive design.
• Ensure consistent visual branding across all media platforms.
• Work with developers and marketing teams to integrate designs and animations seamlessly into various campaigns.
• Provide creative direction for Flagright's overall visual and interactive design language.

🙌 We’re looking for someone who has:

• 3-4 years of experience in Motion and Interactive Design, with a focus on marketing or sales.
• Experience in creating custom illustrations and animations for websites and SaaS applications.
• Proficiency in video editing and motion graphics tools like Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of marketing and sales creatives, including videos, motion graphics, and interactive designs.
• Exceptional design skills with attention to aesthetics, composition, and detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovation and creativity.
• Prior experience in a tech or SaaS company is beneficial.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, think strategically and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in a timely manner.
