To support us with bringing our technological stack to the next level and advancing our ML infrastructure and eventually making our AI pipeline self-service, we are looking for your help.
We are hiring an MLOps / Data Engineer.
🎯 Your responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain pipelines that support machine learning applications
- Manage model lifecycles
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows to clean up, transform, and aggregate data
- Setup and maintain ML tools for data annotation, visualization, training, lineage tracking and versioning such as DVC, sematic, Vertex AI or MLTest
- Extend the existing ML pipeline to make it a closed loop system: based on the customer’s feedback, the ML system is automatically retrained and redeployed.
- Collaborate with the backend team to integrate ML pipelines into our production environment
- Support the Computer Vision team to provide the infrastructure and tooling for fast iteration
📚 Our backend stack
- Training pipeline on Cloud VMs, experiment tracking in MLFlow, migration to run on Kubernetes in progress
- Data streaming with Apache Kafka, persistent data storage in MongoDB
- Containerized microservices with docker compose
- Computer Vision models in PyTorch
- Processing mixed on-prem/on-cloud, storage on Google Cloud
🛠** Desired Skills and Experience **
- Strong programming skills in Python and at least 3 years of experience with object-oriented programming
- Experience with modern MLOps systems
- Experience with most of the following technologies: Git, Docker, Apache Kafka or Pulsar, NoSQL database (MongoDB), Kubernetes on cloud (GKE)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices, such as version control, testing, and continuous integration and delivery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A plus:
- Experience with video processing and management
- Experience with Google Cloud
