We are seeking a Marketing manager to coordinate and execute a multifaceted marketing strategy with a focus on digital marketing, analytics, and local SEO. This cross functional role will report directly to the CEO, and have the broad mandate of growing the awareness and adoption of Byte’s consumer facing brand, Noshery, across a growing number of geographies and through a variety of channels, platforms, and initiatives.
What we are doing has not been done before, and as a result, our marketing strategies will not be limited by convention or lack of imagination. While tried and true marketing methods must be put to use, you will also be encouraged to think outside the box, get scrappy, and pursue new or unconventional means of getting the word out through platforms like Nextdoor, LinkedIn, and more. The ideal candidate will be both analytically and creatively minded, with a deep love of data and a good eye for detail.
As an early member of the team, you will have significant autonomy and will be involved in key day-to-day decision making. You will be exposed to every facet of the business, work with all team members and have the ability to define this role. If you are passionate about building the playbook that enables restaurant expansion at scale, this is the right role for you.
2+ year of relevant experience in marketing, preferably in the restaurant or food delivery industries
Proficiency in Google Analytics
Experience setting up campaigns in Google and Meta
Experience tracking and analyzing campaign performance
Highly organized and focused on metrics
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Bonus:
Love for food / the restaurant industry
Startup experience / experience in food delivery or logistics companies
Scrappy: you know when to prioritize speed over scalability and are comfortable making those decisions
Comfortable with ambiguity: some things you work on may never become full products. But one might change the course of this industry
Delighted to take ownership: you alone decide the ceiling of the scope of your responsibilities
