We are looking for an Production Lead to oversee daily operations of our cloud kitchens network from food production to policy and process adherence. For this role, you will drive continuous improvement and optimization, and will develop processes that maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to scale our cloud kitchens network while meeting quality and cost targets. Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations
- Increase production, asset capacity and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining quality
- Ownership of cost variances and production output, product quality, raw material availability
- Provide clear operational direction and focus by implementing initiatives in line with company strategy
- Monitor operations, provide accurate and detailed reporting and lead corrective actions
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
- Collect and analyze data to identify places of waste, overtime, and operational inefficiencies
- Commit to safety procedures and implement world class hygiene standards
- Create and maintain a culture of respect, trust and ownership within our cloud kitchens staff
- Address staff issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements when necessary
- Stay up to date with latest food production management best practices and concepts
Skills and Experience
Ideal candidate will have these experiences:
- 3+ years operations experience with atleast 1+ years F&B / FMCG / Restaurant operations experience
- Demonstrable experience leading operational excellence through initiatives like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Toyota Production System (TPS), 5S, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, etc
- Experience managing big operations teams producing perishable food products in large volumes
- Strong knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, CAPEX)
- Knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
- Ability to create accountability processes, train and develop staff, and lead by example
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering. MBA or Masters in Management would be a plus
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects in parallel, often under tight deadlines
