Oda processes and generates thousands of real estate images every day to better serve different audiences with evolving interests and tastes. We are venture-backed and looking to expand our team of engineers and scientists.
As a Machine Learning Research Engineer in our team, you'll develop, train, and scale machine learning systems at the intersection of deep learning, 3D vision and computer graphics. You will be part of a small but growing team of engineers building 3D generative models to synthesize photorealistic virtual environments and capturing exceptional levels of detail and variety of physical spaces.
What you’ll do:
- Develop, train, scale deep learning models for 3D reconstruction
- Build custom photorealistic rendering pipelines to generate synthetic environments and data
- Improve the efficiency and speed of GPU implementations of large ML models
- Contribute to MLOps efforts at Oda; implement training pipelines leveraging distributed computing, design & build robust APIs and libraries that seamlessly coordinate with other Oda services
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with CNN, Auto-encoder and Transformer architectures
- Expertise in PyTorch or similar GPU APIs
- Proven ability to translate a research paper into implementations
- Excellence in Python or C++
- Curiosity for finding and directly solving unique engineering problems
- Strong interpersonal skills and ownership
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of implicit neural representations, differential rendering
- Hands-on experience with distributed computing, databases and large-scale machine learning systems
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning algorithms
