##What you’ll do
You’ll be the first dedicated front end hire and will be calling the shots! We want someone who is excited to join a founding team, grow a team, own a product space, and help set the vision for the product’s user experience.
###Responsibilities
-Lead design and implementation for frontend app using React, Next JS, and app engines
-Proactively identify ways to better solve user problems, and propose UI solutions.
-Own monitoring, deployment, testing and documentation of frontend application.
-Collaborate with engineers, data science, and product managers to deliver robust and comprehensive interfaces to risk monitoring and risk due diligence tools
-Influence the technical direction of Overwatch’s next generation platforms
##Who you are
Minimum requirements
-4+ years experience in frontend engineering
-Preferred qualifications
-Proficient with Javascript
-Experience with common front-end development tools such as Redux, Webpack, NPM, Storybook, Typescript, component libraries etc.
-Familiarity with RESTful APIsand modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
-Comfortable designing and developing new components to meet product requirements
-Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
-Experience working at an early-stage startup and what is required to ship enterprise grade software
-Open communication skills — ask questions, assume good intentions, and default to transparency
-Pride in owning projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems
-The skillset to build holistically; from specs and documentation to implementation, testing, deployment, and measuring impact
-The ability to balance speed, complexity, and scope in service of user needs
-An interest in political science, risk, or global affairs
