Team Our team is made up of gamers, marketplace experts, and serial founders, and we are backed by influential figures like Michael Seibel (co-founder of Twitch), Frederik Byskov (co-founder of Astralis), and Heini Zachariassen (co-founder Vivino). We've also raised a seed round with a group of VCs. We are a small but mighty team, and we are looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to join us and make a real impact. Our office vibe is relaxed and welcoming, and we take pride in coming to the office to keep the vibe going:) Role: As a Lead Backend Engineer at GamerPay, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and reliable software solutions. This is a leadership role that will allow you to take ownership of key projects, and contribute to the development of our technical roadmap and strategy. You will work closely with the rest of the team to architect and build out our platform, with a focus on the backend. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our designer and the rest of the founding team on the next core innovations for our marketplace. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable and reliable software solutions Lead the development of our backend systems Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure a cohesive and well-designed platform Contribute to the development of our technical roadmap and strategy Requirements: Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, and SQL Experience or interest in working with cloud infrastructure (AWS) Experience designing software architecture Based in or willing to relocate to Copenhagen
