Hypercore, a post-seed startup backed by at.inc and Y combinator, provides a comprehensive Operating System to private and public debt funds worldwide, helping them streamline their lending processes and handle deal terms, amortization, KYC, underwriting, and reporting.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Lead to join our early-stage startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling to financial institutions, preferably in the lending space.
As a Sales Lead, you will join as one of the key stakeholders of Hypercore growing team, playing a critical role in driving revenue and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Sales: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with financial institutions across a full sales cycle including lead generation, cold reach out, networking and selling.
- Persistence: Establish and maintain relationships with key clients
- Execution: Leading formal pitches, negotiating contracts and close deals.
- Creative: Developing strategic and creative marketing and selling strategies
- Solutions: Together with our Product and Engineering team, develop a deep understanding of Hypercore’s product in order to create custom solutions to meet clients’ unique requirements.
- Leadership: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments. Playing an instrumental role in Hypercoer’s team and growth trajectory.
A bit about you:
- You have Customer Empathy and the ability to understand and identify customers' needs and pain points, and to build relationships with them to help sell the product.
- You are experienced in building or executing a successful sales cycle: A process-oriented approach to tracking and achieving results, including building a pipeline, finding leads, qualifying leads, selling, and closing deals.
- You are Metrics-driven, focused on tracking and understanding key metrics, including revenue targets and pipeline efficiency.
- A team player: you have the ability to work cross-functionally with the rest of the team, understand customer needs and prioritize them, and deliver difficult messages when necessary.
Skills you’ll need:
- 6+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the lending space
- Experience selling to financial institutions
- Ideally, a wide network of established relationships within the US lending/banking market
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset to see additional opportunities for growth
