The Role
We’re looking for someone with solid software development experience to help us lead and grow a small, highly productive, engineering team. In the next few months, the team will be implementing new features in our products, scaling our cloud infrastructure, and assisting in the regulatory approval process as we expand our pilot program and validate our product market fit that we think we have already found.
You will mentor junior developers and facilitate open communication with the rest of the company, particularly the machine learning and product teams. As you gain an understanding of the business and product, you will have a say in shaping our company vision, culture, and strategy.
Must have’s
- Lots of experience building commercial web applications
- Experience with React and Django, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud services (we use GCP)
- Willingness to lead and mentor a small technical team
- An overall nice person 😊
Nice-to-have’s
- Experience developing image and geometry manipulation applications
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code
- Experience leading a technical team
- Project management skills (Agile, Trello, Jira etc.)
