As Arist’s Head of Sales , you’ll help define the way we sell a dramatically better way for people to learn to some of the world’s largest organizations.

You’ll be in charge of taking what has worked historically to bring Arist to Series A and helping to take it to the next level, coaching AEs and working directly with customers yourself to grow deals, shorten time to close, and build out teams and systems to do so sustainably.

Since Arist is creating a brand new category, this will involve gaining a deep understanding of the challenges that L+D leaders face and getting creative with honing how to bring Arist to the learning industry

More specifically, in your day to day you’ll:

  • Directly manage and grow the sales team (currently 3 AEs), becoming familiar with their deals and acting as a mentor and coach for them on how to close more and faster
  • Be responsible for closing some deals directly, especially those that may need help to get across the finish line
  • Work with enterprise prospects to empower champions to push for Arist internally at their organization
  • Help shape and revamp sales collateral and processes as needed
  • Work across marketing, sales, CS and product to ensure we’re aligned in how we’re speaking about Arist to customers, and that the voice of the customer is present in how we make internal decisions
  • Be responsible for sales forecasting, pipeline health and growth, and reviewing the accuracy and strength of revenue in pipeline from AEs
  • Work closely with CS to help expand current customers

You’ll be great for this role if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales
  • Experience in growing and leading a successful sales team
  • Demonstrated experience leading a Sales team through complex sales cycles and closing six to seven-figure enterprise deals
  • Proven track record and experience in increasing efficiency and productivity across a growing sales org, especially at a high-growth startup
  • Experience or interest in selling SaaS to L+D or HR professionals
  • An understanding of the needs of executives and be a partner in solving major business challenges with them
  • A management style that is strategic, kind, thorough and thoughtful
  • A passion for learning and people development
  • Fun while you work, and believe strongly in Arist’s mission and product
