What will you do?
Your primary focus will be on applying AI techniques to reduce default rates among borrowers. You will play a crucial role in analyzing data to predict borrower behavior, develop strategies to minimize risk, and create systems that ensure high-quality loan repayments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.

Additional responsibilities include:
- Extending the company’s data with third-party sources of information when needed.
- Enhancing data collection procedures to include information relevant for building analytic systems.
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
- Conducting ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
- Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constantly tracking their performance.
Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in credit or insurance.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and machine learning, experience in LLMs is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL and MongoDB query language.
- Experience with Python.
- Vast experience using Jupyter notebooks.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
Compensation
As we are in our seed stage, our compensation package includes an entry-level salary combined with stock options from the initial employee option pool. Joining a startup is a bet and a commitment, compensation improves as the company takes off.
