Chatpay allows anyone to create an online people-driven experience through group chat platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram. So far we helped more than 1000 creators monetize more than $5M. We have fitness trainers creating weigh-loss programs on a WhatsApp group as well as day traders creating subscription communities to share insights on the market.
Chatpay just raised our Series A from Kaszek and Kevin Efrusy and we are looking for an experienced Head of Design to set the standard for how this function will operate at Chatpay. First, as a highly-engaged design leader who will make sure we ship effectively and efficiently, and second as a culture of experience-driven company developer who will help us structure and scale de design team.
Ideally we are looking for someone that have:
- Incredible design sense: taste for what works aesthetically and in terms of usability
- Project management: chatpay is one of the highest growing startups in Brazil. We are looking for a design leader that can execute projects effectively, fast and with excellence
- Design Culture: someone that ideally worked in a true product company that really prioritized design and experiences to be able to recreate that culture inside of Chatpay
Requirements:
• Attract, retain and develop a growing team of designers and user researchers
• Collaborate with the leadership team, quickly moving ideas from high-level product vision and strategy through road mapping, planning and execution
• Contribute to the product through coaching on craft and persuasively representing the design perspective cross-functionally
• Maximize the impact for the design team
• Foster an Experience Driven culture cross-functionally
• Create and maintain a strategic Visual Language
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of relevant design experience
• Experience with leadership and team building
• Experience working on social, marketplace, or other consumer-drive products across multiple platforms
• Proven record of developing high-caliber design teams
• Ability to drive alignment cross-functionally with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
