About Nourish
Nourish is on a mission to help people eat better. More than half of Americans have a chronic condition related to what they eat, and poor nutrition is the number one driver of preventable death. We are spending more than ever on healthcare, yet life expectancy has gone down multiple years in a row for the first time in a century.
Nourish is addressing this healthcare crisis by helping people eat better. We connect chronic disease patients with a Registered Dietitian via telehealth and getting it covered by their health insurance.
We launched one year ago and already have >60 dietitians and thousands of patients. Our patients span a wide range of nutrition-related conditions including diabetes, eating disorders, kidney disease, GI conditions, cancer, obesity / weight management, cardiovascular disease, and more.
We have millions in revenue, are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised over $9M from top-tier VCs including Thrive Capital, Y Combinator, Susa Ventures, Operator Partners, and Box Group. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, Alto Pharmacy, and more.

About the Role
As Head of Growth, you’ll be responsible for owning and executing our digital patient acquisition strategies end-to-end, from driving top-of-funnel traffic to improving down-funnel conversion. You’ll report directly to our Co-Founder / COO and manage a team of full-time employees and contractors to execute acquisition strategies across organic, email, performance marketing, and web. You will be instrumental in helping Nourish reach its ambitious growth targets by unlocking the next phase of scale in patient acquisition.
This role is full-time in Nourish’s NYC office in the heart of Silicon Alley.
Key responsibilities
- Manage our SEO team (SEO Manager, content editor, and copywriters) to drive growth in organic traffic
- Manage our performance marketing contractor to drive higher volumes on paid search/social while driving down CAC
- Design and execute web, SMS, and email experiments to improve conversion rates, working closely with design, product, and engineering
- Develop and execute other creative marketing strategies to ensure our patient acquisition volumes meet the growth goals of the business
- Create dashboards and reports to measure and clearly communicate growth performance and develop new strategies based on your finding
You will love this role if:
- You’re passionate about Nourish’s mission. You’re interested in nutrition and are eager to be part of solving America’s healthcare crisis.
- You enjoy scaling organic growth channels. We’re focused on building sustainable growth via organic channels like SEO, organic social, and other creative acquisition strategies.
- You thrive when given ownership. You’re a self starter and want to have full ownership over a critical function. You enjoy flexing between high-level strategy and nitty-gritty execution. You take ownership of all responsibilities, big and small.
- You do your own stunts. You’re not just a strategist. You like to build and ship new things and can take a project from idea through implementation with minimal outside help when necessary.
- You take an iterative approach. You know we won’t get everything right the first time and value speed and iteration over perfection.
- You think work should feel like play. We are a close-knit team and care about having a lot of fun at work — we want you to feel the same.
We’d love to hear from you if:
- You have 5-10 years of experience in growth marketing, ideally focused on organic acquisition at a high-growth startup in the consumer or healthcare space.
- You thrive in a fast-moving environment and are not intimidated by ambiguity or change. You enjoy new challenges and jump in headfirst when facing an issue.
- You have solid web skills and have built web-based experiments using HTML/CSS/JS or low/no-code tools like Webflow or Wordpress.
- You’re comfortable working with a variety of team members and stakeholders both internally and externally, and have strong verbal & written communication skills.
- You take pride in being reliable and hitting deadlines, and you hold yourself to a standard of excellence.
