TLDR:
Beacons is looking for our first Finance hire! You will join the leadership team to build frameworks snd implement scalable systems for finance and accounting at Beacons. As a strategic thought partner to the CEO, you’ll drive sound business decisions and ensure execution of long and short term financial goals.
About You:
- You have 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, accounting, or FP&A
- You operate and respond in a fast-paced, ambiguous and dynamic environment that is constantly evolving
- You manage, prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously with superior attention to detail
- You have strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with non-financial audiences
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Finance or related field
What You’d Be Working On:
- Manage our accounting and finance functions, including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting
- Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual FP&A processes, including forecasting and reporting, financial modeling, estimating cash burn rate and runway, and providing updates, trends and insights on financial health to leadership
- Work with our third-party bookkeeping firm to produce accurate monthly and quarterly financials
- Oversee cash management and insurance plans
- Build out processes for planning and budgeting, including working with third party vendors (e.g., Rippling, Quickbooks, etc.) to streamline processes; focus on system automation and process improvement with the ability to monitor results and partner with the business
- Assist with with Beacons options plan and financial valuation reports
- Drive ad hoc special projects for funding initiatives, Board materials, and investor updates
- Support operations team in defining KPI’s and creating dashboards that provide a consolidated view of important operating and financial metrics across the company
It’d be a major bonus if one or more of these apply to you:
- Prior experience in investment banking, management consulting and/or private equity
- Previously had a finance role at an early stage startup
- A strong understanding of B2C SaaS and the fintech space

The annual cash compensation range for this position is 160k-200k. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
