Instapath is developing cutting edge automated digital pathology software and hardware systems. We're looking for an engineer to join our team to design the future of cancer detection. Your duties will primarily revolve around building the next version of the automated digital pathology software and/or hardware system and maintaining our current systems.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product and industry knowledge. You will work in a team-oriented environment that accelerates operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the core product
Suggest methods to improve operational efficiency
Work cross-functionally with different teams and organizations
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree or PhD in Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering .
1-3 years of professional engineering experience
Ability to read and understand designs, schematics.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Prioritize the user when thinking about system design
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Experience with writing detailed documentation from multiple perspectives
Experience with collaborate and clearly communicate between dynamic groups of stakeholders
Experience with building testable, highly available, and highly resilient products
Ability to design, implement and rapidly prototype in a fast-paced environment.
Eager to learn and relentlessly investigate cutting edge solutions
Preferred list of skills
Startup experience
Healthcare specific domain knowledge, such as HIPAA compliance, HL7 data interchange formats, or clinical terminology.
Experience with C++, C#, Python

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
