In just a few months of our initial lunch, we had over 10 companies using Convoy in production, sending and receiving millions of webhook events monthly, over 760+ Github stars and a growing community of over 110 developers.
About the Role
We’re looking for a driven Growth Hacker with experience with software development and API architectures. This person will help drive top-of-funnel adoption and awareness of Convoy among technical audiences such as developers, architects, and technical executives.
As the Growth Lead, you will be responsible for owning the messaging, positioning, and overall go-to-market strategy of Convoy in close partnership with SEO, Digital Growth, and Product Marketing.
We expect you to use your prospecting, sales, negotiation, and leadership skills to effectively sell Convoy’s offerings to leading companies to meet and exceed your quarterly sales target. You must possess a "hunter/closer" mentality with a proven track record of success within a value-driven sales model.
We’re an early stage company. As our first non-engineering hire, you’d have the opportunity to build our Go-To-Market team from the ground up. This includes both the sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Generating, managing and forecasting an end-to-end sales pipelines.
- Ensure 100% customer satisfaction with all prospective customers.
- Learn, leverage and help evolve our demand generation process.
- Build and execute a clear product and go-to-market strategy to increase brand awareness with new and existing customers through organic, top-of-funnel growth.
- Create, maintain and support compelling website content and examples that showcase the value of Convoy
- Build SEO and content strategy with Developer Relations to determine technical content plans across solutions, use cases, and competitive comparisons geared towards a technical audience.
- Actively engage with new and existing leads through various outbound channels to increase customer interest and excitement around Convoy.
- Learn our technology and effectively communicate our value to a technical audience, adding value with every touchpoint.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of sales and marketing experience supporting B2B SaaS products for technical users
- Have strong product marketing skills that translate to clear copywriting, product evangelism, competitive positioning, and messaging
- Thrive in cross-functional environments and can effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and teams
- Have a data-informed mindset and are driven to set measurable goals for every project you take on
- Are incredibly organized and efficient—you take on complex projects and own them from start to finish.
- Experience working with a technical product or the aptitude to quickly learn complex technical concepts
- Fearless approach to prospecting -- phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills are all important
- Approach all projects with a developer-first mindset
Bonus
- If you have experience with Convoy, webhooks or APIs
- Content marketing/SEO knowledge is a bonus.
- Apollo and other sales tools experience is a plus
