Growth Associate

Alaan, one of UAE’s fastest-growing fintech is in the most exciting stage of its growth story and is looking to hire a sole growth associate to expand the most critical function in this period - its growth and marketing team.

Alaan is the smartest way to manage business spend for Middle Eastern businesses. The Middle East is on the cusp of a payments revolution with a $3 trillion+ B2B payments market. Managing spend for businesses in the region is incredibly painful, with archaic and disjointed solutions. Alaan solves these pain points by providing an all-in-one spend management and corporate cards platform. Businesses use Alaan to control spend, save time, and automate business expenses.

This will be a high ownership role and we have HIGH expectations from the candidate - this will not be a regular 9-5 job.

What would your day look like?

The Short Version

No two days will look the same at Alaan - you’ll be interviewing the CFO of a billion-dollar company on one day, curating and executing marketing strategies on another, and supporting the product newsletter process on the next. If you’re willing to learn, adapt and implement anything and everything that grows the company, you’ll fit in:)

The Long Version

Handle community-related initiatives: We’re the leaders in the spend management space in UAE, and a big part of it is because of the community we have built with CXOs in the region– you will be at the forefront of this.

Ideate and execute growth campaigns: Work alongside the product, design, and sales team to launch marketing campaigns that grab the attention of our target audience in UAE and all upcoming markets we will soon function in.

Write content on the go: Alaan prides itself to be a leading knowledge distributor. You will be responsible for writing various forms of content in the form of blogs, website copy, newsletters, and case studies.

Be our social loudspeaker: You will plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, monthly newsletters, and social media. Additionally you would be assisting decision-makers in understanding market trends, identifying target areas, and creating strategies to efficiently take advantage of market gaps.

Work alongside the founders and growth lead to bring ideas to reality: Alaan is big on bringing out-of-the-world ideas to the masses (Alaan pioneered OpenAI applications in the Middle East, completely in-house). You will be part of ALL the big initiatives going forward.

You are energized by working cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams: Alaan has the region’s leading spend management product. To stay on top of our game, the product evolves continuously – we expect you to be interested in fintech products and be able to keep up with the change.

You have SOME experience in the field: Expectations are high for this role. While not necessary, it helps if you have a proven track record in the growth function of a company.
