We are looking for a Software Engineer who is comfortable in a polyglot environment and has strong full stack development experience with Python and Flask to join the EasyPost team. You will be a key member of our small, fast growing Product Experience engineering team making important technical decisions that will shape the company's future. If you love to code, like to build APIs, and enjoy working on unique challenges within a collaborative team of developers to build meaningful products, then we’d love to connect with you.
What You’ll Do:
Strongly collaborate cross-functionally
Build new features and products for the EasyPost API
Assist in the development of EasyPost's website
Participate in code designs, stand up meetings, and code reviews
Optimize and build back-end services for performance and scale
Analyze/debug performance issues
Support and mentor fellow engineers
Lead and own a number of projects simultaneously
About You:
Exceptional coding skills in Python and Flask
Strong experience building, deploying, and maintaining web apps at scale
Degree in Computer Science or related fields (or related experience)
Database knowledge, preferably in MySQL
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
