As a Full Stack Developer at Orange Health, You will be tasked with creating a fully functional website, including developing all of the necessary functionalities. Also, your duties will include designing and developing layouts, writing code to power the underlying functionality of the website, and developing tests for the code you write. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who likes getting things done at scale.

What will you get to do?

● The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to contribute to the growth and development of our product through writing and maintaining high-quality code that prioritises maintainability.

● This role will be focused primarily on front-end development, comprising 60% of the responsibilities, with the remaining 40% focused on back-end development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and monitoring valuable solutions that achieve the team's goals while maintaining a smooth delivery flow and balancing tradeoffs between scope, time, and effort.

● As a continuous improvement mindset is essential for success in this role, the successful candidate will be expected to continuously improve their and their team's way of working. This includes expanding the boundaries of their team's autonomy and self-organisation, as we believe these principles lead to stronger, happier, and more performing teams.

Skills we are looking for

● Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science/IT (or equivalent experience)

● 2+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and React.js development, consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs

● 1+ year of professional experience with back-end development (Python, or Golang), and SQL/NoSQL Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), and AWS

● Experience in Semantic HTML, CSS, SCSS styling and Typescript

● Experience with React unit testing using Jest or React testing library and React state management libraries (Redux, Apollo)

● Firm grasp over web development best practices (performance, security, browser APIs)

● Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills

● Excellent attention to detail, ownership, and ability to execute through to completion

● Solid understanding of agile development life cycle
