Frontend Engineer (Contract)

Decoherence is re-imagining what it means to make video in the era of Generative AI. We are hiring a front-end contractor to work on our web application.

You will be joining a small team (just the 2 co-founders!) and have an out-sized impact on the direction of the product. This is NOT a pre-revenue startup: we have thousands of users, hundreds of paying subscribers, and growing quickly month over month.

For remote workers, we require that they be within 3 hours of Pacific Time.

What You'll Do

• Develop web app using NextJS + Typescript
• Work directly with CEO & CTO
• Ship quickly and often to thousands of users
• Make as many AI videos as you want

Who You Are

• B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
• 3+ years of experience developing web applications with React
• Enjoys a fast and lean work environment

Bonus Points

• You have designed and implemented a NextJS application from scratch
• You are experienced with Chakra UI
• You are familiar with Stable Diffusion
• You have worked at a startup before
