About the Role:
As a Product Engineer at Second, you will be responsible for designing the web application, module interfaces, and the overall user experience for the features that are built with the bots. You will work closely with our engineering team, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure the design of our product meets our users' needs and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a cohesive design system that scales across the product
Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate on designs
Create high-fidelity visual designs and assets for development
Ensure design consistency across the product and maintain design documentation
Communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and design best practices
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in product engineering with a portfolio showcasing web application design and UX/UI expertise
Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and VS Code
Experience conducting user research and usability testing
Understanding of responsive design principles and ability to design for various device types
Knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
