The Covid pandemic has led to a rapid increase in telehealth usage. In the summer of 2019 only 8% of patients had used telehealth - that number is now above 50%. But the one thing preventing all of our healthcare needs from being met virtually? The world is still physical. We still need vaccines, blood draws, injections, and therapeutics that can only be delivered in person. That's where we come in. Axle Health connects telehealth platforms and patients with in-home healthcare professionals to bring care into the patient's home. We bridge the gap between physical and digital care.

The Role

We're seeking a well-rounded software engineer to help build our native iOS and Android apps. As a software engineer, you’ll be critical in pushing our product and technology forward.

What You’ll Do

• Talk to customers to gain user empathy and understand their needs

• Design, build, and maintain features on our iOS/Android apps, ensuring our apps are intuitive, secure, and easy for health professionals to use

• Build and launch new mobile products for health professionals in the field

• Build and maintain robust infrastructure to help improve the reliability of our apps

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years of software engineering experience

• Experience with mobile development (iOS and/or Android)

• Self-starter who can both problem-solve on their own and knows when to bring in the rest of the team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A desire to change healthcare and the patient experience for the better

• Bonus: Have experience with both iOS and Android
