Founding Full Stack Engineer

Stairs is looking for a senior full stack engineer to join the founding team (first hire) and help us ship software to help first-time homebuyers. You have:

• Broad engineering skills with deep experience in frontend.
• Experience and willingness to work in all parts of the stack and pick up new skills quickly.
• An eye for design: comfortable starting from an idea, sketching wireframes, and shipping an MVP with a bit of sparkle.
• A mind for product: able to empathize with future homebuyers and think clearly about how to serve them.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

🤖 Tech Stack:

• Frontend: React, Typescript, Tailwind CSS, Netlify.
• Backend: Java (Dropwizard), Postgres, OpenAPI to generate client code.
• Infrastructure: AWS managed with Pulumi.
