We are looking for an experienced Software or Solutions Engineer to join our team. You will be the first technical solutions engineer and will therefore have the chance to take on a lot of ownership and shape Kombo's post-sales organization with a strong possibility of taking on a leadership role in the future. You will support customers on their whole product journey: from onboarding and working with them on how to best integrate Kombo into their product, to extending our product based on their feedback and to helping them scale to hundreds and thousands of connected integrations. Overall, your mission is to make our customers succeed (fast)!

Most of your time will be spent coding and solving technical problems; always motivated by the real-life problems of our customers. This role demands strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and exceptional communication abilities.

About You

  • You are ambitious, self-driven, and eager to work alongside a high-performing team. You want to take over a lot of responsibility for an excellent customer experience through a great technical product. You also appreciate being part of a transparent, “no-bullshit” culture that values direct communication, no politics, and is driven by high quality and ownership
  • You are a strong engineer who has worked in a Solutions, Post-Sales, Support or Customer Success Engineering role before. You are collaborative and work well with your peers in Sales, Product, Engineering, and the Customer Success team.
  • You have excellent written and spoken English skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will technically onboard and work with various of our customers' teams (domain experts, product, engineering) to help them integrate Kombo and solve real-world problems.
  • You will solve technical customer problems. This could be chasing down a tricky authentication issue, extending an integration, or consulting our customers on how they should implement a particular use case within their product. You are expected to commit code yourself
  • You will collaborate with the Engineering Team to maintain a high level of context about various parts of our codebase and coordinate with the team to ensure high-priority issues are addressed promptly.
  • Keep track of customer promises and requests, utilizing systems for timely follow-up as needed.
  • You will work with product management to translate your knowledge of customer problems into product insights to shape the direction of Kombo’s product.
  • You will create re-usable collateral, docs, best practices & tools in collaboration with the Engineering and Customer Success team
