Director of Biology

The Director of Biology will have responsibility over all aspects of the company’s experimentation. They will work closely with the founders and scientific advisors to design and implement validation of computational hypotheses, generate data to optimize model performance and steer drug development efforts. Key responsibilities will include: ● Designing, implementing, and executing experimental protocols to validate molecular determinants of response and resistance to a drug. ● Piloting data generation strategies to improve the company’s ability to deconvolve drug function. ● Working with the founders and scientific advisors to interpret results, select putative targets, and design drug development programs. ● Managing CRO partners to execute in-vitro and in-vivo experiments that cannot be performed in-house. ● Managing lab staff, vendors, and equipment to efficiently achieve goals. ● Showcase work at top conferences & journals – scientific advancement is key at Serinus!
