DigiBuild is looking for a full-time software engineer to build features, fix bugs, and take our construction management platform to the next level. We're built on top of Web3 infrastructure so our development path includes an interesting overlap between the massive construction industry ($10T) and the future of collaboration in Web3.

Duties will include:

-Web application feature development, including greenfield development on new features and products across our DigiSuite of products -Investigating and fixing bugs, including bugs reported by clients, bugs found in our QA process, and bugs that appear in our error tracking system -Working with our team of software engineers to solve hard problems with the software we build -Build out integrations with third party libraries and APIs -Optimize the performance of our platform -Work across the stack, spanning backend and frontend

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a 4-year undergraduate institution, or graduation from a reputable coding bootcamp, or equivalent experience -Intermediate to advanced knowledge of NodeJS and the NPM ecosystem -Mastery of JavaScript, especially the newer ES6+ features -Strong understanding of the Document Object Model, browsers, clients, and servers -Ability to create REST-based APIs and experience doing so -Knowledge of SQL and experience working with a SQL-based database such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or others -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Natural self-starter who can work and level up independently with guidance and mentoring from senior software engineers -Intermediate experience with a reactive frontend framework such as React, VueJS, etc. -Comfortable with linux/unix command-line and standard command-line utilities

Nice to have:

Experience working with Typescript Experience or interest in the construction or commercial real estate industries Knowledge of GraphQL Experience in a non-js backend language Experience working with Hyperledger Fabric or similar blockchain technology Knowledge of distributed systems, algorithms, and data structures Experience working with Docker and/or Kubernetes
