Data/Backend Engineer
We are looking for a Backend Engineer with experience in Data Engineering interested in creating software and infrastructure that enables the use of collective data to fight fraud and default in LATAM and in effect enable the industry to make healthier financial products that promote financial inclusion.

Responsibilities:
Design and create robust, scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure to collect, process, and serve data. Design, Create and Deliver APIs for data input and output consumption. Set clear goals and timelines for system roadmap. Maintain and optimize system performance for throughput, latency, and usability. Be in frequent communication with team and customers to identify improvements valued by stakeholders of the system. Coordinate with team to deliver reliable data and models. Ruthlessly prioritize tasks to minimize time to value
Requirements: 3+ years of experience in software development, Fluent in Python and Django or Flask, 3+ years of experience building cloud infrastructure and at least 1 year with AWS, Experience building secure and compliant infrastructure, Experience creating and consuming APIs, Experience creating serverless infrastructure, Experience with infrastructure-as-code, Experience delivering highly available data integrations, Experience developing software products from scratch, Degree in Computer Science or similar.
Nice to have:
Experience in working in a fast growing startup environment, Experience with ETLs, Experience deploying ML models, Experience in the fintech industry, Experience with Airflow, Experience in building fraud, credit, or risk models.
